Nicola from England

Nicola was another couch surfer that contacted me for a photo session because my guest room was occupied when she was in Copenhagen.

Although she’s not a professional model, she clearly had both talent and interest in modelling!

She impressed me by cutting away part of the shirt she was wearing so that she could create the look she wanted. I had a blue dress in the apartment left by another model, so we used that for pictures as well.

She’s a photographer herself (the only one to take portraits of me) and a professional Motion Picture Film Editor.

After spending a few hours that first day, we stayed in touch. We visited each other multiple times and travelled together to continue taking pictures and enjoying long conversations.

After over a year, I collected our work in a book that captured my experiences with her, which you can see on the 404 Days of Nicola book page.

Nicola is one of those people that started in one category and migrated into Friends.
