Karolina is another of Pavlina’s friends that I met during a trip to Prague.

Pavlina told me that Karolina posed for her group drawing sessions and she was wonderful to work with and talk to. She had strong opinions about art in general and I appreciated her insightful comments on my sketches of her and some of my other work that I shared.

As with her friend Draco, Pavlina joined the session for a couple of dual poses, which are quite new for me. They happily chatted in Czech while I drew, and though I did not understand what they were saying, I had the sense that I had snuck into a ladies sauna and listened to two friends chatting and laughing, which made for a wonderful drawing environment!
